Default dropped civic

My car is lower from the front and lifted up from the back.
I just bought it.
I bought it like that.
Its 96 EX.
The front is lower like about 1 inche, i can fit my 3 fingers between the tire and the fender, and the back i can fit all of my fingers including my thumb.

I looked closer at the springs the front springs are thicker than the ones in the back.

My question to you guys are:

1. Do civics come like that. (the front springs are thicker thant he rear one) i doubt it.

2. Most probably he swaped the springs, (the previous owner of the car) which springs could they be, could they be integra springs or any other springs which would let it drop about 2 inches.

The previous owner was most likey cheap or dumb. A little bit of both maybe. He must have installed performance springs in front, and not in the back. I would recommend buying all new springs, and upgrade your struts. I bet you he didn't. I recommend H&R and Koni, have fun.

The front springs will be different. Think about it for a sec. They need to be able to support most of the weight of the vehicle namely the engine!! The rear springs don't carry too much weight.

yeah i understand that, but i also have an 92 integra, when i took the springs apart, they were not different, the only thing was the rear ones were longer.
Integras eninge is heavier than a civic.
