Need help... car not starting
I have a 89 four door lx with a d15b2. I have changed the timing belt recently, and it is slightly advanced... slightly ahead of the first mark on the pulley. It won't start now. It started, and ran for a minute or so, but now it won't start again. I put it to TDC for #1 cylinder... and the rotor (in the dizzy) is slightly past the #1 terminal on the cap. What could be the problem? Has fuel pressure... no code is flashing. The injectors are getting the right amount of voltage... blah blah blah. I think it might be the spring on the belt tensioner... I can't figure it out. I followed the book (a Helms or what ever, and even the book that the techs at dealerships use (for 89 wagon)) Please help... need to get it running since it is my daily driver.
