Brake pads for my CRX EE8
Hello!
I'm from Poland and I've got a 1991 CRX EE8 with a B16A1 motor. I want to order carbotech panther+ brake pads ( http://www.carbotecheng.com/ap...a.htm) but don't know wchich one will fit because there was no EE8 model for the US market, am I right? My question is: Does any other pad ( from an integra or Civic or I don't know) fit in my caliper?

Yes, I mailed them but they wrote that they can't help me. My friend has a EE8 too and he bought a B16A2 powered DelSol from 1994 w few weeks ago, he wanted to put his almost new pads from the II gen to his Sol but they dont't fit
Heh, my investigation succeded
I downloaded the EBC brake Catalogue ( http://www.ebcbrakes.com/catalogues.html very helpful pdf file!!) than meassured my pad.
Its the same as for the:
Accord Coupe 2.0LXi (88 thru 89)
Accord Sedan (88 thru 89)
Civic Sedan 1,6 (90 thru 93)
Prelude 2.0Si (88 thru 91)
Prelude SE (88 thru 91)
Acura Integra 1,7 Vtec (92 thru 94)
Acura Integra 1.8 (90 thru 93)
The pad from DOHC Vtec Civic's (after 1992) and DelSols are different. I think the best way to get pads for an EE8 is to order pads for the Acura Integra 1,8 (90-93).

I think '92- calipers are different from the '91s. I ordered some Galfer pads and the dealer said that the catalogue stated that all VT(i/EC)s etc was the same. Well...the pads didn't fit so i got some Redstuff instead, and they fitted like a charm. I guess mostley because they were for the EE8

Are You sure that GSRs 94-0 and Civic's 99-00 has the same 17CL14VN caliper?? Because in the EBC catalogue the pads are different: </TD></TR></TABLE>
I haven´t had a chance to actually verify this myself , but the caliper code seems to be the same which I assume would mean the same pads. Could you take some pictures and measure your brake pads ? I have some brake pads lying around for my 2000 Si calipers which I could take some pictures of and measure. I´m interested in knowing for sure that they are the same thing.

The pad I use in my EE8 is exactly the same as the lower one at the picture (DP21719/2), the meassuremants are the same and the pad looks identical to the illustration. Compare it with Your pad. I emailed carbotech one more time, send the ilustration of my pad and they said that Nort American pads are much different from European for the Hondas I wrote. My pad is a North American D409 wchich says nothing to me? But they said they offer this pad. Now I still don't know wchich US- Honda has this pad. I wrote one more email.
Polak means Pole in polish, but the funny thing is I have a German nationality

Now I'm sure. If anyone wants to order brake pads for his CRX EE8 in the USA You have to ask about pads for the Acura Integra (1990 -93). Maybe there is another option...
Heh, it took me much more time then ten minutes, to find it out mister wiseguy. I fought that there would be some1 here who give me a fast reply. But maybe my post will spare someones time in the future??
