Default need help asap engine cuts under strain HELP

I have a 91 civic 1.5 dx 5 spd when driving or going up hill engine cuts out,blows smoke and wont rev. I have already replaced cap,rotor,plugs,wires,dizzy,coil,air filter and every thing is brand new nothing used. car is driveable at low rpms but when i floor it to shift it coughs sputters puffs. I also checked comp. and I am above 180 all the way accross. If anyone has aclue please let me know thanks in advance

Check your O2 sensor. Any codes? It sounds like your running very rich.

02 sounds interesting, check engine light on don't know how to check codes

02 sensor is the thingy (best description) on the Exhaust manifold w/ wires coming out of it. you may need to remove the manifold cover to get to the 02 sensor.
and the when the check engine light is on it means your running a code. look at the ECU (under the carpet on Passenger side or behind trim under dash beside passanger door) and its the metal box w/ alot of wires comming out of it. there should be a light on it and when you run a code it will blink a certain # of times. check how many times it blinks to determine which code and look that up online. -good luck-

I checked the codes and they came back with 1 and 16 I also checked the injectors and they are fine. anyone else? thanks

code 1 is for your o2 sensor...it probably needs to be replaced and that is why u r running rich...
how did u check the injectors?

I checked the injectors by reading the ohms but now i think i was wrong because i just changed the fuel filter and my plugs are soaked in gas and engine wont fire now ???????
