I am thinking of buying a set of oem style fogs for a 04 ex coupe. it comes with all the pieces and a switch to mount on the inside. Is there any way that i can install it to automatically turn on when i start the car and turn off when i turn the car off without having to touch the switch. it really want to mount the switch and turn it on, but have it automatically turn on and off while being able to turn the switch off if needed. Did i make that clear enough?

Also, how do i post pictures? i press the insert picture button and some letters and symbols pop up. and if i just drag the pic over the screen goes away.

 

You just wire the fogs up to the ignition with a relay. There should be a spot on the fuse block you can get power from when the ignition is on.

However, fogs won't make very good DRLs. A DRL is aimed up at oncomming traffic, and is run at a lower power to not blind. Thats why its normally the high beams, they just run them at lower power.

 

i know, i didn't really care to have them as true drls. i just wanted them to be on when the car turns on. what about the switch?
