I just can't figure this out...
I just put on some new adjustable coilovers (old school weapon R with integra rates) on my EK coupe... 450 front, 350 rear. I tried to lower the car a bit more than where it was on the pro kit's, and the freaking back end just loves to rub the tire on the lip of the rear fender... its annoying, As i keep raising it it rubs less and less but i'm almost back to the ride height I had before with pro kits (a lot higher than i see most people run their cars here, 2 finger gap on the rear)
I need some suggestions I am running 16x7 wheels with 40mm offset, on 205/45/16 kumho 712 tires. It mainly rubs on the passenger side for some weird reason, hard at all on the driver side.
Is my offset not high enough? (need different wheels?) or is it too wide tires? wheels too wide? What is it??? Need help as i'm new to this whole "riding low" thing... My pro kits were almost stock ride height, but I wanted something stiffer and to lower center of gravity.
How do you guys get away with it? its not like it rubs a lot, but under hard turning, if i hit any kind of bumps, boom it rubs.
edit: I know that some people "roll" their fenders, but I'm not terribly keen on the idea and i doubt i could do it myself without completely F'ing up the metal. And its probably expensive to have done, and seems like it would compromise the strength of my fender area.

bump, any help is appreciated. Even if you just list your setup on your 6th gen coupe and whether or not you rub would give me some insight.

I think it may be your offset. I run 205s on Si rims with no rubbing at all, and pretty much 'tucked'.

ah, could be then... si rims are narrower than mine too, what width are the Si rims? mine are 7 inch.. i'm guessing Si's are 6 or smaller. I think I might say nix on the 7 inch rims and find rims with bigger offset, and i hope i'll be OK.

where can i have that done, and how much does it cost?
Are there any adverse body effects to having your fender rolled? is your rear fender weaker?
