Default what are good shocks for my needs

new crx owner here, and new member on the site. i have a 91 crx hf, with konig reign 16's. i just recently got some skunk2 coilovers for it. my ? is what are some good shock choices for it, i'm looking for as smooth of a ride as i can get, or as close to stock. i'm not interested in an all out performance shock such as the koni reds, or the tikico adjustanble ones. just a shock that will ride nicely, btw i will probably only have the car 1" lower for most of the time. and another ?. will any shock that works with the stock springs work with the coilovers, or do the coilovers atached differantly than the stock springs. and could the stock shocks work if i wanted to use them for the time being. thank you guys, and gals

Koni Reds are not an "all-out performance shock." They're softer than the Yellows. If you want a high-quality shock that won't ride too stiff look they're actually a pretty damn good choice. The other thing to look at would be Bilstein HD's.
