like the title says. i need a radio code for my 96 prelude. i know every radio has a different code. But i know there is a sticker that says the code somewhere inside or outside the car. btw i dont have the stock manual .

 

nope. gotta get the radio serial number and go to honda , and theyll give it to you

 

ymm my friend had this problem in his GSR.. duno if its tha same.. his sticker was on the headunit.. had to take it out of the dash to look at it

 

well have fun, my local dealership was gonna charge me 85 bucks for the code... i just hit up some friends that work with audio **** and they hooked me up with the code for a burrito

 

if you go to a real honda dealership and show them proof of ownership and the radio serial they will just look up the code and write it down for you. I had to do this last year when my battery crapped out 450 miles from home....woulda been a boring *** road trip in silence. It was FREE.

 

look under your ashtray it is usually there at least it was on my 97 lude and 2002 accord

 

I have a 96 prelude and I found the sticker with the 5 digit code between the stock speakers in the trunk, in that area. If not go to the honda dealership like everyone else said!

 

The dealership near me didn't bother to look up anything and said something about resetting the code.

Luckily the dealership where the lude was purchased is just a little further away and they were willing to look it up for me for free.

 

thanks for all the help i got it for free at the dealership. i just called them and he said what was the serial number of the radio and he gave it to me for free NO more lonely rides
