Default problem with keyless remotes?

Hello i just bought two keyless remotes for my 98 accord coupe off of ebay and they program fine everthing works except the trunk release. i just read on the net that if you have an ex model you may have problems with the trunk release on the remote when adding additional remotes. Anyone heard of this before? The part number is the same as the original remote and the original remote trunk release works fine after i reprogram all of them!

Thanks

I programed them myself it's easy! But for some reason the the new remote trunks relaeses do not work just the original one does! When you program the remotes you have to program all at the same time even the original one as well but for some strange reason the new remotes the trunk does not work???

So you had a keyless remote that would pop open your trunk.

You bought two new remotes off of ebay and programmed them, but after programming the new remotes won't pop the trunk but the original (the one you already had) still pops the trunk?

Weird. No, I have no suggestions, other than trying again. The steps you followed are the same as these, right?
