itb owners/ users. how are you routing/ re-routing your coolant lines?
iirc, I just capped them all off and using the hondata IM gasked in the RACE install, I capped the large fitting coming off the head and t'd that line back into the heater core lines...

I noticed that my itb's still get quite warm after driving..... even with the hondata IM gasket.....
How are your coolant lines routed now?

Hmm, that is the crank case breather for VTEC blocks. Are you sure you capped that one? There is also a fitting on some blocks that is lower and to the left of that fitting which is the water return for the factory oil cooler.
sorry, i posted the wrong pics earlier.
I have corrected my first post.
It's the fitting on the water pipe that I capped. And the port on the IM closest to the distributor.....

Ahh. So, the cap you used, is it a cap suited for vacuum or coolant? Most caps I've seen in autoparts stores are plain low grade rubber, no reinforcement.

yeah be really careful with this, I have those ports capped and one of the caps failed recently causing me to lose a bunch of coolant and overheat
I've heard you can unscrew that fitting on the intake manifold and screw in a plug but I haven't tried it yet...

I'm having that same fear.....!
I would like to remove the brass fittings and put plugs in instead. I have no idea how I could do that to the water pipe though.....
