NO VTEC, ALREADY SEARCHED NEED HELP!!!!
okay well my vtec isn't kicking in. its a h22a4 in a 92 civic cx hatch. i already took off my solenoid and cleaned it out and vtec still does not kick in. i've waited for the car to warm up and i am sure i have enough oil and i have no major leaks. i was wondering if anybody could help me with the wiring as far as which wires go to the ecu from the vtec solenoid. any help will be appreciated
what ecu are you running? If p13,
Solenoid (one wire plug) goes to A4
Pressure switch signal (usually blue) goes to D6
Pressure switch ground (usually black) goes to A26
If you are running a p28, the wiring is the same, but the PS ground does not need to go to the ecu, it can be grounded on the head.

its a p28 and thanks for the help. i'll be sure to look at thing first thing in the morning. any other reasons why vtec wouldn't be kicking in?
the only check engine light i have right now is a code 3 and code 7. tps and map sensor. could that have anything to do with it?
If you have code 3 and 7 then you might have switch the two plug harness by accident. It would have an affect on vtec. Double check the wiring to make sure you plug them up correctly then reset the ecu. After that, take it out for spin and see if vtec work.
