Default Aimco clutches? are they really OEM?

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this company. they say they are OEM, and on ebay they sell at about half of what autozone wants for their duralast clutch. Is this really OEM? has anyone bought one from these guys? too good to be true?

it's most likely an 'oem replacment' clutch kinda like the exedy ones on ebay. I have an exedy in my car and i'm fairly happy with it so far.

haha when they say its oem dude it just means its to oem specs not from honda man..lol..as far as it coming from the same place...most parts for the import market all come from the same place...different companies buy it and put their name on it...

Aimco is not an oem supplier, that I'm aware of.

Get the Exedy clutch...its like $100 from clutchcityonline.com.
[brokenrecord]Exedy is owned by Daikin. Daikin makes Hondas oem clutches[/brokenrecord]

I need one for a first gen b16 so it $189 plus shipping, which sucks cause i swear last year these were right around $100 too.

so since it is $189 I was thinking about buying the aimco for half price

I really think its original stuff. Ive bought a few of these from Aimco off ebay. Says Daikin right on it. Daikin is the name right on the Honda blueprints for the clutch. (Im not telling you how I know that, but I seen it with my own eyes).

Any updates on this? Are these OEM clutches, or just OEM spec? Do they work well?

it appears to me that aimco is a dealer for clutches not a maker. Daikan is the OE manfacturer for Honda clutches and they also make Exedy as their performance clutches.
