Default NHRA Street Stock class question...

Can you run stand alone engine management?

I swear when this class first came to be the rules said something like ITB's and aftermarket engine management prohibited (except for piggy backs). I just downloaded the rule book again and I didn't see anything listed anywhere about this anymore... maybe it was in an update? Maybe I am just losing my mind.

If anyone can confirm please post up because this will be a major factor with my new car.

Thanks.

The sources say (Jim Skelly)--there was never any rule against Aftermarket Engine Management. However, ITB's are prohibited.

Email Jim Skelly if you have any questions - jskelly@nhra.com with any other questions.

Maybe... all depends if my current car, the mulberry VR6, is still around or together.

I am picking up my new car tomorrow, the plan was to start parting out the VR6, take it all back to stock and sell it, then sell all the aftermarket/performance parts, I need all the money from both to fund the next project. The new car will not be anywhere near ready till next season.
