Ok I was a bumbershoot which was awesome to the max. so I go back to my car and i see a cop i hate cops... so anyways ii start getting in my car and notice that my deck is about half way out my glove box was open. so i go looking around trying to figure whats gone, luckly the only thing that was jacked was the face plate. NOW i have to get a new center console air control unit, and maybe just maybe i can find a face plate for my deck. so if your a thief i hope one day you get caught during a hiest and the owner of the item beats the living **** out of you......

When I was living in Phoenix I had my car busted into five times in one year and it was stock with a shitty explode deck. Now I no longer live there and haven't had my car touched since.

But luckily it wasnt anything badder. Imagine that your one what you love the most, would be stealed and you could never see it again. That would be so sad.

What gets me the most is that a lot of this is preventable:
- remove radios faceplates every time you leave your car!!
- Get a security system... they are only $130-200 installed !!
If we put forth an effort to secure our aging cars...maybe these
posts would be far and few. And **** the "if they want it they gonna take it anyway" responses. Thats bull- the only ones who want our cars our peeps like us!! and we car more about JDM/Go fast goodies to make their jobs that much easier.

screw thieves man! there are lots o perps around here because there is a state-run dry-out clinic for crackheads near my house. we have to keep a lookout for our cars and our neighbors' hondas too, you know.

 

Thieves suck, my 99 si got stolen when i was in vegas. i was there for only 2 days. It got stolen right out of the parking garage of the hotel with all of their cameras and none of them saw anything... Can you say inside job. They left my alarm siren in the parking spot where my car was. At least they had a sense of humor. What really sucks about the whole thing was that i had just turboed it 3 weeks before. Then I had to buy my friend and I plane tickets to get home.

 

I wish I could booby trap my CRX with a pound of C4. That way if they tried to remove anything or tamper with anyhing, they/their friends would be vaporized in a large, pretty fireball. Actually I think a pound of C4 would level a neighborhood... nevermind.

To the original poster, consider yourself lucky that the guy who broke into your car wasn't a fellow Honda-guy. Or your entire car would be gone.
