hey, mine was easy to remove. take a look at the pic, remove your cap / release fuel pressure, disconnect the sending unit plug, turn the ring counter clockwise to unscrew and remove the sending unit. Some may say, disconnect the batt and blah blah blah. I definitely say, clean up the exterior before you pull it out ( you wouldn’t want dirt or crap falling into your tank) !

LOL! if there is one time wher eyou should unplug the batt it's when you're working on the fuel system.

I'm deployed overseas right now but I've been trying to get with dealers online by sending messages. They never to seem to have any idea WTF I'm talking about. Does anyone have a part number or knows the part by another name the dealer might understand? I think I'm calling it the right thing but I just wanna be sure. The Fuel Gauge Sending Unit does connect the fuel gauge on the cluster to the fuel tank to make the gas gauge work, right? If anyone on here know's where both ends connect, please let me know. I hate adding gas based on mileage.

^^^ the only thing pictured is fuel pump related stuff.. no sending unit.
i dont think honda sells it. these people are probably getting aftermarket ones or pulling them off of used tanks.
