My litle brother is having car troubles and I think the car is in need of a new alternator, I am very handy when it comes with the car and Ive changed out my alt. on my Acura and it was smooth.

But mine is way different than his car and I am long distance and planning on going out there to help him out with his car, my question is how do I remove the alternator on a 1999 Civic EX 2 door and also what type of alternator should I buy and if you have pictures of how to do this that would be great as well.

Best way to do it wihout taking out ur axle is to loosen up the alt from te bracket and take the bracket ou then the alt will come out easy then just do t in reverse just remeber to disconect the neg. terminal on the battery
