Default Carbon Fiber hood lifting?

has anyone else had this happen?: anytime i get past 70mph my hood will start to slighly lift up and down right at my wiper squirters. does this have anything to do with the rubber gasket thing that is supposed to go at the very front edge of my hood if so could i pop rivet it in? the plastic things that are supposed to hold it in are too big to go in there they just crumble up

we probably have the same hood...
you can add the little rubber stripping and it should correct any problem.

When Im up above like 60 or 70 mine lifts up and down a LOT, I mean I can sit up in my seat and look at it bounce up and down, it looks like the hood pins are the only thing holding it down even thought it latches too. Its just a cheap $350 one I bought a while ago. Its just all the air coming in the front and trying to escape, I thought it was normal for CF hoods, cause the stock metal ones are sturdier with the metal skeleton.

i think it is the gasket at the front edge of the hood i am going to try to put it on and see if that fixes it

If you're worried about it lifting I would suggest getting some hood pins.
