Default OT: but not really OT Honda Tuning October issue, HOW to KEEP YOUR RACK LUBRICATED, no not that rack

anyways point of this post is to alert you guys with no power steering on the eg/DC chassis, that have the infamous hose loop, there is a better way!

Anyways the boys at Honda tuning put together a nice kit for me to install on my race car. The kit keeps the rack lubricated and has a very nice resevoir to hold fluid that will not spill or leak. if your running the loop and are tired of spilling fluid evrytime you fill it check out the kit we put togther in the october month issue

RJ if you deem this innappropriate too bad!

oh yeah and ryan's car is in there too

link please?

I have the 'loop' installed on my car, with a breather, and I drained most of the fluid out of the rack. With all the fluid in, it just didnt feel right.

Its sorta a loop with a breather. 2 AN lines out of the rack, T'd, then single line to the breather/cbr fluid chamber.

Sounds like what I've got. With the thing full of fluid, it SUCKED.

Is this any different than the "kit" Padawan has been selling for two years?

Bling, as in gold plated.

I still opt for removing components rather than adding bling

Remember the good old days?

When simply drilling something full of holes gave a part that special bling?

Scott, who would drill his front uprights and LCA's but something's holding me back...

Something like the last vestiges of sanity and mechanical aptitude?

Been there - Done that...many times...

Scott, who wasn't sure who (or what) Dark Matter was...is it like Gray Matter (of which I've heard) only more concentrated?

Just don't drill any lightening holes in your helmet - especially with your head still inside.

"Seeeeee...that's why this place is so great...we can trade "best practices"...and learn from the mistakes of others....not that I'm admitting to Anything!"

Scott, who touched his kaa the other day (getting his finger very dusty) and told it: "Don't worry - we'll go fast again"...

Yeah, that and single cammer's weigh less than those complicated twin-cammers. You can save weight by simply using a lighter engine with a single cam (that's all anyone needs anyways ). And if you decide this isn't the way to go, don't drill any holes in your cams to save weight.

And not to completely hijack this thread, Casey my appologies, my fellow TEAM SGR tee-shirt testing buddy Sam Rothschild got his car (the #59 CRX) and his mugshot in the same issue. It's in the CRX club event section. Sorry Casey, it's not everyday that I two Friday night racing cronies find their way into the same magazine issue. Yellow ITR.
