trying to put this obd-1 b18a in my 90 si hatch, i'm having a hard time figuring out what 2 of these sensors do????
i looked on the Carland acura web site and the oem manual and im still confused


what the hell does B do?
if its for coolant then what is (A) for

E and D are for oil some how ( d is for oil pressure)
i would appreciate any help

 

Well 2 of them are coolant sensors i guess, and the others on the back are pil pressure and knock sensor im guessin, unless the b18b1 obd1 din't have a knock sensor, idk but im a obdo guy to be honest.

 

it's definetly not a knock sensor on the back

 

the sensor(E) on the back of the block beside the oil pressure sensor(d) is a secondary fan switch, its like when the oil gets to hot it turns the fan on. its not needed, but if your going to ref it then just hook up a plug and tape the wires into the harness, ive done this 3 times now. as for the first pic (a)coolant temp sensor for ecu (B)coolant temp fan switch(88-91 has it on the back of the block) (C) coolant temp sensor for cluster
