Just to clairify(engine swap)
Im currently doing a zc swap out of a 89 integra into a 89 crx si, And ive looking through an online instruction book on how to do it and it says that the mounts on both engines are the same. So will the zc engine sit right in my si? The zc motor looks like it sits higher
Thanks Guys.
And im new here so HI

If its a USDM integra it wont fit, I believe its a d16a8, but dont hold me to it. THAT wont fit, but if its a ZC it will. All the mounts line up perfect, the ZC came in the CRX Si in japan.
1. its NOT a ZC, its a d16a1, and
2. I KNOW it won't bolt up. The d16a1 doesnt bolt into any civic/crx.
I did a JDM DOHC ZC swap, and it works perfectly. $974 shipped from Hmotors for engine/transmission/axles/halfshaft.
and HI, welcome to H-T.
p.s. as for the DOHC ZC sitting higher thing, my hood in my civic SI has a hard time opening and closing because of the timing belt cover hitting it. It works just fine in CRX's though.

Thats really a IFFY thing, Some peoples stock hoods will hit the timing cover some peoples hoods wont.
I really dont know why that is, But in my hatch the hood clears the timing cover.

I just have my own little JDM way of opening the hood, where I open the drivers door, reach in and pull the release thing, while kicking the hood at the same time. :D

actually the d16a1 bolts into the 84-87 civics and crx's.
