94 GSR B18C1 OBD1 into 97 EK Civic Hatchback OBDII with OBD 2 ECU
HAS ANYONE DONE SUCH A SWAP?
Mechanically Im sure everything is fine.
Electronically I know I have to:
Rewire the Distributor
Use the Civic injector
Use the Civic Engine harness
Run VTEC and Knock Sensor Wires
But what about the:
CKY- Crank Fluctuation Sensor (Do I need it? Can I run without it?)
Secondary O2 Sensor (I know I can do without)
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advanced.

Do u know if it will run even w/o ckf?
also can't i get a ckf and put it on the motor?
how do i know my ecu is usdm or jdm?
Thanks again for your help.

to get a new ckf u would need a new oil pump cuzz the sensor is connected to it...since obd1 engines dont have one then u would need a obd2 oil pump from a obd2 motor...wut ecu r u using?
i had the same problems with my car also, OBDI GsR Motor in a 96Notch with OBDII P72 and i had a **** load of CEL's....but it still ran fine!

that will be the easiest way to do it. run an obdI ecu with a conversion harness.

without the jumper you have to run the obdII ecu... and in that case then you will have to run the secondary o2 sensor and figure out somehow to wire up a CKY sensor, otherwise you will have a cel... and i personally am not sure how your car will react to that. the easiest way is to run a jumper w/ an obdI ecu. that way... no secondary o2 or CKY is needed.

......you mean CKF sensor right????
CKY is a band
CKF is Crankshaft Flucuation Sensor

just finished the swap, car runs like ****
kinda hesitates out of first between lik 2k-2.5k
then when it hits 4.5k it starts bogging like there is a spark problem
does anyone know what is wrong
Not hooked up yet, didn't think necessary: knock sensor, ckf, vtec, 1 of the O2 sensors
any ideas anyone?
