supercharger for f22b2, sohc???
hello gents well i am just inquiring for my own knowladge, i like to do things that others dont do. i dont want a swap bcuz everyone does it, turbo- who doenst want it. f22<<no one wants it... f22<<-- i want it and i dont want swap or turbo. id like to have a supercharger, seems less **** to deal with and would like to see wut it would take to do a f22 supercharger fitting.. i am having a hard time explaining but basically i want to build my f22 as much as possible and then supercharge it. right now i am saving for itbs, but will want a super charger after that and i am just gettin info on it. any opinions or advice is greatful just please keep it on this topic, and no i cant spell or write correctly and i know it cost alot of money to build an f22, but im want knowladge..
The only belt driven supercharger I've seem is for a Honda Accord V6 application. It's a variation of the Paxton units which were developed years ago and marketed by (I believe) B&M
Here's a link to a vendor for the V6 unit

All I've seen for the 4cyl applications are Turbo-Supercharged units, sorry

yeai know about the comptech charger for the v6, but wut bout the charger for the h22, arent alot of the parts on the h22 compatible with the f22, i kow its a dohc and sohc differnece, but wut bout tryin to line up the intake wholes and gettin a custome fabbed mount will that work? wut issues will i see??
you'll probably be paving your own way on this one, i really don't think that anyone has ever ran a supercharged f22 before. You might want to think about where you are putting your money also, i mean ITBs are only used in really extreme all-motor situations and trying to supercharge a car with ITBs will probably be just as much of a headache as any turbo setup will.
yea i know that i am putting myself in a headache, as of right now all i am doin is putting my ideas on paper and inquiring knowladge. as for itbs they wont come any time soon now sinc them damn creditor found me
, so now i am stuck paying bills and more bills. but as soon as i cna i am definitely gettin rmf to custom fab a 4-1 header for it. and ordering me a web cam for low rpm gains. my ac is out and my power steering is next. i also have UR crank pulley and cam gear waiting to be put on but want to wait till i put on the web cam. ill create a diff post in the accord section to show inquiring minds my progress along with pics of my car. again any ideas or thoughts are apreciatted, ie like who would i contact for a supercharger, wut mounts would i need to fab, wut probs may i run into. etc.... thanks fellas

You will need engine management if you get ITBs. I would forget all about them since like dmurphy said they're used mostly in extreme all motor setups. I doubt if you would see a lot of gains with your mods. Save your money you'll need it if you want to tackle this project.
I'm pretty sure you'll need a new hood. I know that when an H22 is swapped into an accord supercharger kits won't fit under the hood.

lol, lol, this is the internet not school moron!! perhaps people dont want to take the time to spell **** correctly or use correct grammer. I DONT GIVE A ****!!!. people like you that come on boasrds to talk **** to another only do it because you know very well that the people on the board are not within your city and cannot or do not want to take the time to deal with ****** like yourself that have nothing better than to put another down so that you can bring your selfesteem up!! so unless you have somthing positive to say **** OFF!!!
Hey man....I too have never seen any bolt on kit for the F22...it's primarily because the general population that gets accords are moms and dads that don't race. I do know that Jackson Racing makes kits for the prelude motors, so you could do a prelude swap and then s/c it. That's my plan.
Spelling and punctuation will make it a lot more likely that anyone intelligent here will want to read your posts and perhaps contribute useful knowledge. No need to get hostile there killer.
On topic - there is no supercharger for the F series. The shock tower will not clear the s/c pulley. The H series + JRSC will still have clearance issues in an accord chassis.

the only possibility i see in light of the JRSC problems with snout clearance would be a custom mount of the Powerdyne unit avaliable for the D16Y8. it utilizes a centrifugal S/C mounted in the location of the A/C compressor. (custom bracket and custom bent header for clearance) it runs the piping across the engine bay behind the radiator (with pleanty of clearance for a fmic) then up and into the intake manifold (if the battery is relocated). it's the only feasible thing i can think of to S/C the F22 without MAJOR reworking of anything. good luck.
yea i knew that there was goin to be a clearence issue, but was hoping that someone like yourself had somthing i could think or design up. thank you for posting. as menitoned b4 i am just doing some reaserch and seeing wut probs i may run into. i guess the idea off the d16 would be my only hopes or perhaps another person has some more input, just seeking advice, thoughts and opinions, with a little of respect, and nooo i cant spell, i am an ex-marine i wasnt trained to spell correctly but i sure can blow **** up!!

I hear to use the jrsc on an h22 in accord...you have to cut out the firewall, as well as add another pulley so the belt clears the strut tower. Thats all I've heard, apparently it has been done but I have never seen pictures.
hmm i dunno, ima search on the net some more, sitll cant find any articles or anything of a s/c on an accord. for some reason i like to be unique, i hate trends and hate to follo. i dont do somthing cuz everyone else likes it but because i like it. so keep the opinions coming and as far as blowing **** up the only pics i have will make u **** ur pants, and cant be shown, last pics i developed somhow came out in the public news paper here( damn costco)!!!
