Ok... more problems arise hah... lol I dont know what type of bolts are holding the pressure plate on. I didnt wat to strip them. I tryed an 11mm 12 pt socket that fit the best but it wouldnt grip so I didnt try it. umm any body know what those are torx sockets? maybe.. I dont know im lost.

Oh andf also. I had to order a throw out bearing. hrm... Should I return my Advanced autocrap clutch ... and buy a sachs? I was quoted 107 for a complete clutch kit from this company with free shipping. and I payed almost 197 for the advanced auto crap? what should I do ? im trying to have this car done by tuesday?

the pressure plate bolts are 10mm 12 point. and you paid alot for a autozone clutch. you can get a exedy clutch kit witch is a stock replacement basicly oem on ebay for about 100.

Resurface the flywheel, it only cost me $40 (well technically $80 because I resurfaced the wrong flywheel first ><.) I'd just do it to start out on a clean slate.

I did my clutch with no previous clutch experience in about 20 minutes, (plus the 1hr and 45 min it took to get the engine out, and the 3hrs it took to get it back in) and it hasn't fallen apart on me yet . But no its easy. Just follow the directions in the haynes/chiltons. Torque wrench is recommended, I wish i would have had one, but since I didn't have one I just guessed, as I do alot of torquing at work and have a good feel for the lb/ft. I did mine with the engine out, and it made it alot easier.

I payed $180 total I think for my centerforce II clutch and pressure plate. plus 40 for resurfacing.

since your on a budget get the 107 dollar one I used the auto zone one for about a year till I had the funds for a ACT clutch set. If you can, just wait and get the ebay one mentioned above.

the good thing about the exedy clutch kits is they usually come with PP/disk/throwout bearing/pilot bearing and they are cheaper than the ones you can get at most autoparts stores. try clutchcityonline.com or they sell them on ebay too.
