clutch install?
Hey guys, i just picked up my new ACT clutch and i want to put it in, how long would it take to do the install? and what tools will be needed?

first time doing it? expect to spend a whole weekend.
if you have someone that knows what they are doing you can do it in an evening.

well one of my friends is going to help me with the clutch job. hes an experienced Honda person. so it should be pretty fun then huh? wish me luck...i will let yall know how everything goes

i just did my clutch and it was pretty cool to open up my tranny. it took us 5 hours. this was the first time doing this. u need somthing to hold the tranny up. u dont have to take it out, just move it to the side. its pretty easy, just takes a lot of time. u need a person to move the flywheel when your taking the clutch off. have fun

my opinion is that it would help a great deal to have the special tool to keep the crank from rotating when ur removing the clutch/flywheel and installing the new one, ur honda techie should have one available

harder to take out...LOL....all we did was put a pry bar in one of the flywheels teeth and brace it against something sturdy so it wont move. then just take out the bolts....or if you have a compressor you might be able to just take it out.
