Typical problems for that old of Honda with that many miles is usually a distributor problem namely the igniter (its in the distributor). If it doesn't make any noises when trying to start it then it will either be a start/distributor/electrical issue.
When i turn the key it trys to start but doesnt...the battery is new and the terminals are clean. Its very wierd it wont start but then in a half hour it would start and run perfect. Sorry if i keep repeating my self iam just very stressed out. Cause nobody knows what it is. The cap and rotor are new and so is the distributer
most old honda like 88-91 civics or crx have proble with ther mainrelay cuz of the soder goin bad, so check dat, its rite behide da fuse box under da steerin wheel, i have da same proble.

trys to start and doesn't is very vague
1. Does it, crank smoothly, but not ignite?
2. Or does it start cranking slow, or sometimes just stop cranking entirely. And then the next time, turn over smooth and start.
Answers:
If 1. you'll need to check for engine codes, then spark, then fuel. and tell us more in detail.
If 2. Your starter is dying, its common for them to stick at random. It will get worse and become "every time" LOL
And I guarantee it's not the main relay.
