Default I have transformed a Chevy S-10 into a beast!

That is correct everyone.. i have turned this plain ol' chevy into in a real working machine!!

No.... i didnt do some crazy fabrication on the engine (yet)... or even the body! hah, infact all i really did was fabricated some sweet mounts for the lightbar to stick to the roof with double sided body molding tape... which is acually taped to some sticker vynal to protect the paint! I call it engineering at its finest. Anywho.. nothin special here but i went to a parking garage to take a pic of my creation and it turned out so perfect i turned the pic into a pimpin 1024x768 background for everyone else who finds bad *** lights and trucks sweet! I have renamed the truck the P-10.. (short for police-10 since the local cops use the exact same light bar.. only theres are red and blue) enjoy!!!

it's a good start!

my good friend put a 400+hp engine in an s10 like that.. the whole truck would twitch with the lumpy idle.. it was awesome!

I acually already own a turbo to put on the truck (thanks pheonix turbo) but havent had time to fabricate the nearly impossible to do headers and exhaust! Not to mention i got a lot of other stuff to buy still.

Instead of doing a normal turbo exhaust manifold you just run a pipe out the end of your stock header to infront of the a/c compressor, something like that. Check on s10forum though, alot of help there for turbos</TD></TR></TABLE>

I considered doing that.... but then its not really pushing my ability to create something outrageous!

i cant even imagine the lag on a turbo after the header...be betteroff making your own mani's and goin from there...

other cool things ive seen on s10's...

a guy fab'd up a atv rack outa 1" boxed steel...so he could drop the tailgate...extend the ramps and drive it up onto the rack system...it held the atv on steel ramps running from the tailgate at the bed...to the roof...on a pitch...it was pretty cool so he could fit his large atv into his lil s10

You'd be surprised, it's not that bad. On my '97 Maxima, that's how I ran it. I did it that way because it's the only real way to keep AC and all the other stuff. Still hits full boost by 3200 rpm and there really isn't any lag.

ah let me rephrase how i said it...being that far form the mani (comb chamber) the pressure diffrential between the turbo and dp wouldnt be as high as if it were gettin extremly hot exh gases...then going to a cooler sided dp...i dont doubt that it works...i mean some people run a turbo like an sts system at the muffler area...which imho is stupid...but to each their own...its nice seeing creativity though...its was inspires us all to create new things

Yeah, if I had the room, I'd prefer to actually have a full turbo manifold, but I prefer AC and PS more.

And agreed, the STS system is retarded.
