Because race gas cost alot more then pump gas.

of course you can drive it on the street everyday as long as you put 100 octane in it every time. of mix the race gas with pump gas.
i wouldent recomend anything over 11.5-12.1 cr for 91 octane

you can.... just tune it for pump gas and be light on the throttle, thats what the guys at importbuilders do

so your saying tune for 93 octane and be little on the throttle, and when weekend comes add some 100 octane gas for racing, and it should work

i think that when you tune the car, tune it for the gas you wanna run... 91.. 93.. they'll have to pull timing and stuff..... then after you have that done.... make sure the tank is near empty and put some 100 octane in there.... then tune it....when your dailying it
use the 91 program and be light on the throttle... when its track day... get the tank near empty and put some 100 octane in there...

that is true....the way gas prices are goin...fillin up on 100 octane will not be that much more different.

My advice was to have a stand alone unit like an EMS....you can have 2 maps saved. 1 map for 93 octane with the timing adjusted accordingly...and a 2nd map for 100 octane. Its actually pretty simple....and yes the guys at Importbuilders do it all the time..... but what do I know....Im a girl!

All in tuning buddy. You can run that on the streets on 93 octane, if you have a good tune.

not really wanting to part it up right now since everything was designed to work in conjunction with each other. If I dont end up selling the longblock....them I will probably part it out...but for now...its stays together....maybe check in with me from time to time!

My ITR with CTR pistons (compression of 295lbs/ft on the dial) ran on the streets and the stip for around 3,100 miles and then:

This was dyno-tuned and was mixing around 300ml of race gas every full tank.
Maybe, some of you are luckier or will get luckier.
