Funny sounding noise on startup sometimes only after its been sitting for a day or more?
Ok last week my friend and I replaced the timing belt and water pump. Everything sounded fine and it drives fine no problems at all. So I park it that was on a Saturday afternoon and I didnt crank it up until later Sunday afternoon and I hear this noise like really noisey valves. I pop the hood and notice that its coming from near the distributor on the intake valve side. It did it for a little while and well I got scared took my valvecover off to see if anything was messed up and nothing there. So today I go out to mess with my car start it up and its doing it again. I cant tell if its the #4 cylinder intake valves, the PCV valve, the injectors, or the distributor haha. Car runs fine no problems at all doesnt burn oil anything. Just started making a funny noise last week only on cold startups after it has sit for a day or so.
Anyone got any ideas? ever had this?

I also took the PCV out and cleaned it with some carb cleaner it rattles when I shake it so it seems to be fine. I could use a new distributor cap and will probably get one this weekend. I did a valve adjustment a little while back but did beat on my car pretty good last weekend for a little while but if it was noisy valves it should do it all the time on startup. I can idle the car up a little and the noise goes with the idle and like I said I can drive the car let it cool down and then start it up and it wont do it. So could it be the injectors like the #4 cylinder injector being really noisy on a cold startup after a day or more?
