Default People with the JDM 5 lug conversion on their GS-R

Help!!! People with the JDM 5 lug conversion. I'm installing the JDM 5 lug into my car but I ran into a problem. I noticed that the JDM cars don't use abs and my car has it. WHAT SHOULD I DO???? Please let me know what you did and how it is working for you... Thanks!

you would have to get a spindel that has the ABS stuff on it.

solution?

press out hub and bearings form the 5 lug setup,

press out hub and bearings from the gsr set

press new bearing and old 5lug hub into gsr spindel

if you have the ITR setup for the large axels then scratch that idea for the front

for the rear, simply unbolt the big *** nut in the back, and buy NEW bearings and put the 5 lug hub in the orginal trailing arm with the new bearings

So you are saying that if i get new bearings then i will be able to keep the ABS with the 5 lug conversion? What if i just want to completely remove the ABS system...how would i go about that?? thanks for any help.

I have been reading alot of searches that I found about ABS removal, but they all suggest that you should buy RS props and Brake lines. I dont know if this is true, but someone told me that I could simply clamp it off without replacing anything...IS this true? I am not looking forward to spend additional money if it is unnecessary. Someone please help me out.

I was in the same situation as you were with my 5-lug gsr conversion. Not all type r 5-lugs came equiped with ABS from japan so the machine stock on the casting was never milled down and taped with the mounting holes. Careful cause the tolerance is critical on the hieght of your ABS sensor. My girlfriend ended up driving the gsr ...soooooo whats left of my 5-lug conversion is collecting dust in the Garage

and if you insist i don't know what im talking about please have some pics to back up your statement, because i will (later in the evening)
