Default h22 swap-front motor mount.

I have a JDM H22 in my 93 Accord, and there are only 2 bolts on the front mount mounting to the engine. There is a 3rd hole but It doesnt mount up right. I know you need to modify this but will there be any negitive side effects running just the 2 bolts? The engines already in the car so taping a hole would be kinda difficult. Should I run it or find another solution? Thanks

the h22 motor is made to drop in straight without any mods for a 94 to 97 accord, any year below that needs a little mods on the chassis in order to drop in the motor

i did a swap on my 92 accord and i didnt have to touch any of the mounts... and as far as the front motor mount goes... some guys dont even use it... i used mine and it bolted right up. ( the 3" down pipe from the turbo made stuff pritty close though)

Wrong. Take of your dog bone bracket from your F22 and put it on your H22 then you can use your dog bone mount. By the way the front and rear mounts are the most important mounts as they control (or contain) the torque of the motor.
