im clueless as to where to run the power wire for my sub to the trunk.. do i need to drill a new hole in the firewall?

 

All the way in back left of the engine bay behind the engine fuse box. Their should be a large rubber grommet. What I did was cut a small hole in the grommet and pushed the wire through. It should be come out easily on the other side.

 

no need to cut the grommit. Just pop the grommit off and attach your speaker wire to a coat hanger and feed it in, when done just pop the grommit back in.

 

put it through the grommet, that way it protects it from rubbing and shorting out
