air filter ?
hey. i just got my type r. i was wondering, you know how when you change your oil on a regular car..you change the oil, oil filter and air filter. for the type r, all i changed was the oil adn the oil filter. i could not find any air filter at the store. does our car have one? if so, what brand and model number should i get to change the air filter for my regular 3k maintenance?
i dont think you need to change it every 3K miles wow ... get a K&N filter and the cleaner for it .. it will last you forever .. you dont need to clean it for a while .. when it starts to look dirty clean it with the stuff... it is easy to clean it will save u money and maybe add a couple horsepower maybe i douno i have a AEM cold air intake with K&N filter works great
I'm sure the FAQ has the part number and maitenance intervals for this. Start here.

Its the same exact part # and price for all the 94-2001 models... so thats incorrect.

Except that 20K isn't a service interval for the car.
Look at it every 15K and if it isn't super dirty you can wait till 30K to replace it.
