Default Catch can question!

Hey guys,

I have a f22b in my 94 accord (engine is stock.) I put in a Greddy catch can recently and noticed with the clear lines it comes with a small coating of oil coming from the engine to the catch can, and also the line coming from the can back to the intake.

I know that I need a new valve cover gasket, along with grommets, but can this mean a larger problem? My car does have almost 200k, so this was more of a experiment to see if the catch can will do anything. Opened, the catch can is empty.

Thanks!

That is normal, especially with high milage. Those clear lines will probably harden soon too. If you have good compression and leak down #s, I would not worry.

did you tune your car before you drove it? Might have ring or valve issues if not.
