i'm in the processs of swapping my s14 200sx for a 1992 imported del sol on 106k km. any help u could give me with regards to wot to look/ look out for with regards to buying? its got 16" rota's, full suspension, carbon bonnet, 4-2-1 manifold, ported and polished head, g-reddy zorst etc. looks imaculate and has obviously been looked after, but has no history!!! any advise would b greatly appreciated! thanks in advance, col

 

Do they have CarFax in Europe (or where ever you are from)?

With CarFax you can check the history of the car with the vin.

 

look for broken door handles, targa leak, tear in door panels, shocks on trunk lid and targa holder blown. That's all the del sol specific things I can think of. That and the usual stuff, smoke from tailpipe (especially at high rpms), body panels that don't line up or look like they've been painted, check engine light, etc.
