Default JR S/C on H22A Problem, Help

My name is mo. I installed JR S/C on my 99 Prelude (non-SH). Everything running fine except when I accelerate almost reach the max boost, the car seem like no power or not enough fuel. I called the JR technical support, the tech guy told me to check the fuel pressure, all the vacuum hoses, ignition system, spark plugs, adjust all the belts. Everything fine. Is anybody give me other suggestion to solve this problem.
Please help !!!

Suppose the J/R S/C max boost is 6psi. When the gauge goes about 5-5.5 psi, my foot still on the gas pedal, the engine seem no respone. After 1-3 seconds, the engine back to normal. If I press the gas pedal on the floor, no problem. Mostly happen on city driving.

Do you have a high flow fuel pump?

has it been tuned properly on a dyno? it dosent sound like it. get a fpr if you don't already have one, and cam gears, and get it tuned.

i don't have one but my mechanic has installed one and he said that the jrsc really needs dyno time to get working properly...

do you have a vpac? maybe look into that more...

Yeah, I completely agree. I've seen dynos with the A/F measured of a JRSC installed on a stock Prelude, and it was running super lean - A/F of 14:1 and higher across a good part of the power band. You need to get some dyno tuning done with a dyno equipped with a wideband O2 sensor. Your car is most likely running dangerously lean under boost...

On my S/C Prelude, I installed everything come with the kit, including high flow fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, EMS, ignition timing control ****. Mostly 90% happen on partial throttle, a couple of times at WOT after I installed for 2 months. I don't have VPAC.

Dear Flavour: you said your mechanic has installed one and he said that the JR S/C really needs dyno time to tune properly in Toronto area. Can you tell me your mechanic's name and the shop name. So I can go there talk to him directly and let him road test and see what happen, any suggestion from him.

Thanks.
