Default Car bogs when hitting boost

I have a bogging problem, my car bogs mainly when i reach boost. sometimes while normal driving I can feel it bog down, then i let off the gas and apply pressure to the pedal it goes away for a little while then back again. I pulled the plugs and they were carboned over, which tells me it is running rich. could be the distributor not putting out enough spark. I tested the components by the book, and everything checks out fine, I was gonna swap the ICM but mine is stuck in the housing. any help?

I have swapped the map sensor out also, and no luck.

I had it tuned with hondata, it ran great for about two weeks aside from some issues with the fuel system. after a day of racing it pretty hard it starting boggin like i explained earlier. I have the stock ignition on their, replaced the plugs. What else would cause it to run rich?

It may not be the problem, but what are your plugs gapped at and do you have pictures of them?? Which ones are you running?? I had problems after my tune and once i got a set of NGK BKR7e's gapped correctly, my problems went away. I was having spark blow-out problems.

Have you done a compression or leakdown test? I'd almost guess you have a headgasket, ring, or piston problem now. Usually if your engine starts runs bad and all you do to 'change' the setup is run it hard, something is broken. If it was just a fuel system problem, it would bog in places besides boost too.

I am running NGK BCPR7es plugs gapped at 28. I get the boging sometimes under normal driving conditions, could it possibly be bad gas, when i changed my fuel filter the fuel came out like muddy water. my tank was/is badly corroded, due to the shop i took it to did not care for it like they should have. i am doing a compression test after work today, but sometimes the car boosts up to 5 lbs. I dont have much time to work on it to troubleshoot it, but this is getting crazy. by the way thanks for the replys, let me know any other inputs.

I put new plugs in the car and then i checked them a few days later and they had carbon all over them.

well I am not really sure, it is hard to start sometimes. how can you tell? Also I was talking to some guys at work and someone mentioned it might be the computer going out. what are the chances of that happening? To fully explain my situation please check the link to another thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2265757 you may have to copy and paste it into the address bar. this gives a good history of my car and situation. please let me know any other things to check. and thanks again

Anyone know if there is a way to test the socketed ecu's, or hondata box, or both.
