Default How can i run a automatic harness on a manual trans?

I have a 96 civic i am doin a b16 swap into and the person i am doin it for got me a 97 vtec harness but for an auto. How can i make this work? Also it came with a p30 jdm ecu what do i need to run that also?

The harness is the same, just plug it all in, you'll have two extra plugs for the shift solenoids, just leave those unplugged. You need a jumper harness to run the OBDI P30 ECU.

how will i have rpms and mph? i think the p30 may be obd2

Shift solenoids don't control RPM or Speed. Speed sensor still plugs in and so does the distributor, so no worries there.

oh so it should go on no prob i just have to change the pin on the ecu for the iac?
