Default engine harness question

can a automatic 97 civic harness be used to drop a gsr motor in an 97 civic, or do I need the 5 speed harness.

If you're putting in a manual transmission, you should use a harness for a manual transmission Civic. This is because the ECU plugs are different from auto and manual.
