Default Window problem

My drivers side window keeps jumping off it's tracks when i roll my window down all the way or close to it, i have become pretty good at fixing it, but if i'm somewhere without tools, it can be a pain in the @ss. anyone know what the problem may be? any help would be awesome.

I'm pretty sure it's the window regulator. It's that bracket that the windows slides in. I had the same problem on my car with power windows.

I second that, its the window regulator. I had that problem after they broke into my car a couple of times.

your regulator is probably bent, this would cause the window to move in the wrong direction. like they said, remove the door panel and a few 10mm bolts and install a new regulator. you can probably find one cheap on Ebay or your local junkyard.

im replacing mine soon as well, its not hard to do at all.

mine the teeth ground off of it and it wont close fully, but they are very weak designs and can bend easily.

you can get a used one at a junk yard for around 60 bucks

don't forget to use silicone paste on the tracks when you replace the regulator.

This will help reduce friction on the window as it goes up/down and puts strain on the motor/regulator.
