Default Oil light on...strange symptoms...helpppppp

91 CRX HF

Start the car no oil light. Take oil cap off and can see oil moving. Replace cap.

Car warms up and oil light comes on. Sounds like crap. Take oil cap off and airflow out of the oil cap is too much to look in.

What could this be? I was thinking clogged pickup. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Aaron

Check the sensor and see if its okay. It may be your oil pickup located in the oil pan as well.

No. Not low on oil. Fresh oil. Fresh filter.

Not the PCV. Checked it and bypassed.

UH great advice. Ill pull the pan and have a look I guess. Will a pump from a 92 d15b7 work in the 91 CRX HF? I have one sitting in my garage from my old EG.
