Type R axles - are they the same part as GSR axles?
Are Type R front axles the same part #s as GSR axles?
Also anyone know of a source for new OEM axles (other than my Acura dealer)?

yeah ls,gsr,type r there all the same .
if you have the axles you can rebuilt then is the same as bying new ones
other than that theres a few auto stores in philly that have then .

You may want to check out raxles.com - http://www.raxles.com/
They have much better prices than OEM and I've heard good results with the people that have used them, many of them racers.

Incorrect.
The O.E. ITR axle does not have the rubber 'dampner' ring around it like other axles do.
