Like he said just use the LS rods, and you'll be all good. You can also keep the oil squirter's. That would be a sick stroker kit

as been covered before, yes its possible to use the ls crank and rods in the b18c block, just make sure you bend the squirters out of the way of the rotating assembly. it can be done. i have the same setup in my car

It's not really a good Idea to bend the squirter's the metal is very thin and can possibly break off your better off to plug the squirter's.

Ive heard this before about the squirters, some must bend them, some dont...

I also have a b18a crank in my C block and did have to bend them slightly. Some more than others.
I believe this to be either different counterweight sizing on different model year tegs or manufacturing tolerances(slop). I hate to think its the latter...

Great mod

BTW, how the heck did you break a crankshaft?

transportation damage i guess, I got this engine really cheap from a JDM shop,

the crank pulley is moving, what else could cause that except a broken crank

I've used a LS crank in a GSR before, and just bent the squirters alittle bit.
The motor ran prefect so I don't know what LS crank your using.

its a fine idea. if you bend them too much, sure they can break. if you over torque bolts, sure they can break. If you are assembling a motor, you know what tolerances each material has. I leave the squirters in on the motors i do. why not?

could also be a broken woodruff key and the crank pulley is spinning on the crank itself...
Take the bolt out to verify
