Default A/C not working

i finnaly decided to fix my a/c. ok heres the problem it wont blow cold air. i checked the valve steem where you recharge it. their was a lil hiss coming out of it so i went and bought a retrofit kit r12-134. when i fill it in, after i unplug it it leaks out of the valve steem is this a leak?? . but it still wont blow cold air while i was filling it.
you know when u press the a/c button the rpm drop and the clutch suppose to engage well mine didnt.

the relay they are fine, i jump the wire to test the clutch it clicks so that means my clutch is good right. i also jump the wire from the ecu it click aslo, hmmm is my ecu mess up?

btw im also looking for a 89 crx pm5 ecu.

If theres not enough pressure, the pressure switch won't kick on the fan/compressor.

I recently did an R12a conversion, but I have a small leak and it only lasted a day before my compressor wouldn't kick on.

ive got the same problem..but i think mines the condensor..makes a lil noise from the condensor..refill with R-134 and ac runs for a while and then dies the fan don't spin the car rpm dosn't drop like it suppose to...so im assuming a leak..

try replacing your expansion valve. Its like $35 at autozone and its located in your evaporator box. To get the evap box off you have to take off the glove box, remove all the bolts holding just the box not the blower motor, remove the bar that goes across the back of the glove box and disconnect the high and low pressure hard lines where they go into the firewall and the box drops right out.

You mean it leaks THRU the fitting? Im guessing its not sealing up right.

Can you get a new fitting?
