Ok, I got this Intake Manifold for my auto to manual swap. It's a Y8 manifold with a teg tb but there is one "valve" (smack in the middle of the pic sticking 1 inch out) I guess you could call it that I am unsure what it connects to. Also I think it whistles at certain RPMs.

I believe that goes to your charcol canister......

atleast my d15b7 goes to that.....I'm not sure, I"m in my 1st swap stage right now.....just thought I'd give ya an idea...

 

Yeah that was a thought we had too. Although there is already one tube going from the IM to the canister.

 

are you talking about the sensor or that tube which is some kinda vaccuum that goes to the evap canister?

 

Yeah I guess that could be it although I already am utiliziing the 2 lines on the canister. The civic Y8 TB doesnt have this tube so Im wondering if I can just plug the line

 

Well if it's running ok except for that whistling sound of the line being unconnected, try plugging it up and see what happens. If it runs good, leave it. You could also try and find an exploded diagram of the Integra throttle body and see if you can trace the connection to where it used to go.

it probably isn't causing a vaccum leak because the y8 gasket doesn't have a hole there. I would cap it to be on the safe side.
Also, the whistle is probably fro your intake itself, not from this vaccum source.

 

Capped the one on my CTR Throttle Body, works just fine.
