edelbrock throttle body issue!
well im riding on the highway and when i get off of my exit i notice that i cant give my car any gas. i tried stomping on the gas pedal and nothing works i had to pull over and pop the hood and beat on the cable link for the throttle to open back up.
what can i do to solve this problem because it is really a pain in the butt.

Did someone back the idle screw all the way out?
If so, the throttle blade can stick shut. Make sure that the throttle arm is stopping on the idle set screw, instead of the throttle blade closing inside the bore of the throttle body.

When the throttle is closed, make sure the arm (where the cable is connected to) stops on the idle set screw. If its backed off at all, it means the throttle blade is closing on the bore of the throttle body. That causes the blade to stick.
Its best to have the arm stop on the idle set screw, and set it so the blade stops just short of fully closed, that way you wont get it stuck.

i just went out there and the screw was a good ways out and i screwit in some and it didnt get stuck it would normally and be a bastard to get loose. i guess after a little run i will be able to make it just right.
