Default Type S sized B pistons

Does anyone even have these? I've been looking for a year now and can't find them anywhere. I've had them on order with Inline 4 for almost 2 months now and they still haven't come in.

If anyone has them, where did you get them? Is there anyway around having to find size B? Can I use Size A?

I would venture to guess you would have to get .25 overbore and bore the block. I really doubt they casted "B" pistons for such a low production engine. Just my guess though..

I'm trying to do this without taking the block out. otherwise i would've gone with oversized pistons a while ago. I think the pistons are in production or were at one time, they're just impossible to find now.

honda318dx, check your pm's on another matter.

There most certainly are 2 types of h22a4 pistons, A and B. You can get any combo of the 2 at importselect.com. My block has ABAB so I got the odd ball mix and they hooked me up no problem

Yes, there are 2 types of prelude piston. However, A and B for the type S might not exist.

Type A pistons will work in Type B slot, but they require a competent machine shop to hone the cylinder walls to type A size.
