Default How to Install.....Buddy Club Earthing Ground Kit???

It's a voltage regulator.....and 3 grounding wires.

The voltage regulator is simple. Positive and Negative terminals.

BUT: The 3 other ground wires coming from the box. Which is the best place to ground them?

Here's a link to the kit I got.

http://www.inlinefour.com/budclubeargr.html

I belive 1 wire grounds to chassis.....Others to Block, Tranny, Intake Manifold?

PS: instructions in Japanese.

not bashin on you man im just tellin ya my .02....

Won't notice a big difference! Cheap grounding kit works the same.

I emailed Buddy Club with a question, asking what would be the best grunding points for the JDM Condenser. Here is the reply that I got.. so if any one in the future has a question they can look it up here.

Best grounding points for a 1996 H22 Prelude.

Greetings Mr. Dmitriy,
_
Thanks for your interest in Buddy Club parts._ We really appreciate your business.__I recommend you connect the grounds to the throttle body, alternator, and valve cover._ If you have any more questions feel free to let me know

Yeah seriously - thats all it is - a little bit of 4 gauge wire with some ring terminals. You could spend half the money and made your own. Just get the ring terminals from radio shack for about $2.00 and spend about $70(if that) on the 4 gauge wire.......put the ring terminals on the end of the four gauge wire and hammer it.......there ya go......they got you good....but it happens to the best of us.

They hate cuz they think they know everything, they think it makes them look smart, or big. Just let them hate in real life @ face to face level... nah/uh aint gonna happen. In real life there can be consequences but only online you can talk **** and no one can do anything about it. I have one & when im on the street no one dares to say a thing. Like I said, online any twig can be tought and act smart. They might feel like they know what there talking about but should that really matter? I mean who cares that you think BC Condenser is a waste? Really? Get a life, I think its a cool mod. So don't be useless and post here to criticize, be usefull and go help others.

I don't think it's "USELESS" perse; however, he could have done the mod himself. If he has the money to spend on that - more power to him. I was just giving him a way to do it himself. A ground kit is nothing but wire and ring terminals....nothing more.....he could have done the mod and gotten the same "gains" for half(if that) of the money. Its just common sense - not hating at all. I would have just researched it more.

All a voltage regulator is is a friggin resistor. It controls the voltage - and the resistor controls the amperage. If you have a HIGH voltage and low amperage - its harmless.....but if you have a low voltage and HIGH amperage - its dangerous........

Get resitstors for a few cents....and call it a day.

Thanks for the input guys.......But I didn't pay $140 bucks. I paid $120 LOL

I don't mind wasting my money on pointless crap. I was on an internet buying binge at the time.

But thanks for the correct ground points. I'll change them tomorrow.

Does nothing at all?

Here are true dyno results, not some back of the box artwork

Import Tuner Magazine's " Power Pages " vehicles seem to get slight gains from the ground wire kits.

Whatever IT uses for a dyno facility doesn't seem to show a lot of gains for any of their mods. Makes you wonder why spending +$1000 on an exhaust and intake would only yield about 10hp (the s2000 tech i think). The only one that felt significant to me was the 1999 GST they were working on, but that had a turbo.

I added two pics after fooling around with their software, trying to find the highest gains, and one section had it i think-- +10hp/+10tq max gains at 5200 RPM. Can't wait till I get lighter 18s. The RX-8 wheels are 18x8 22lbs each.

I used to have doubts it was giving me any power increase, but it did give me better gas mileage and the throttle response was smoother. Now i know it works and I have proof The only downside of this kit is if your power window motors dim your head lights, this kit won't solve it.

I got my kit from http://www.streetrays.com/cata.../9286 for $135 free ship.
