Default Compression #'s on an H23/VTEC??

I did the H23/vtec with h22a pistons and I got around 320-315 on all the four cylinders. Are these numbers normal?

those numbers sound incredibly high!

which head gasket are you using?

there must be a tiny *** amount of space in the chamber for that much psi haha.

sure it wasnt 200's? 300 just sounds extreme.

Which OEM pistons did you use? Has the head been milled? OEM headgasket? 300 psi is high, but not bad if you tune it well. Be careful of your ignition timing...

Head gasket is OEM, pistons are h22 not sure if h22a or a1 or a4, and my head is not milled. What about the timing?

Those sound high, ive had that same setup only with with a milled block and head and would typically see about 230. If your cam timing is significantly adjusted from stock than those numbers might change but that still sounds high.

Could this high compression make something knock in the block?
