Default Strange Issues (searched)

Hey I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help solve my d16z6 problems.

1. After motor install I tried to adjust the idle by unplugging the eacv as instructed, the problem is when i do this instead of dropping a few hundred rpm it just dies. I have replaced both the eacv and iat and no change, strangly my idle seems to be exactly as it should be with no surges.

2. I am getting code 1 oxygen sensor, the one i am using was fine a day ago in its old home and now supposedly doesnt work. I am wondering if perhaps the above problem is related i saw other posts where people fixed there code 1 with a new iat etc.

I have not checked my ignition timing since the install and im sure it may be off slightly due to the a6 dizzy positioning, is it possible this is giving me the problems?

Thanks for any feedback!

this happened to me with my CRX w/ b18c1 swap. i had installed a new fuel pressure regualtor a while back, and a few days later my car was acting funny. it died on me a few times when i was stopped at stop lights, and became hard to start at times. i thought it was the battery, so i chagned it. NOPE. thought it was the alternator, so i swapped in a known good one i had lying around. NOPE. so i changed the fuel regulator back to my old one (b&M) and. DING DING DING. BINGO!!!

TURNS OUT my AEM fuel pressure regulator had a damaged part inside it that was screwing up the fuel flow

so i say check your fuel filter if your fuel pressure regulator is stock. My buddies fuel filter was WAY clogged and his car would crank, but not turn over till he bought a new fuel filter

i have a z6 in my crx also and have had just about every problem imaginable with it. what ecu are you running the car with? if your using the stock crx or si ecu to adjust timing all you have to do is jump the two wires in the connector with a yellow boot on it located on the right side of the engine bay. you may come to find out that this does absolutely nothing but thats the way honda tells you to set it so??? and just remember that the white mark should be at zero on your timing light. I also had to swap out the iat sensor from my old A6 i dont know if they have different temp ranges or what but. those have been SOME of my trials and tribulations i hope it helps
