Default Odd idle problem

Just swapped my D15 for a D16z6. I am having an odd idle problem with a CEL 14. I know its the IACV so i replaced it and its still throwing the code. As for the odd idle, if i hold the throttle at 1500-2000 rpm my idle surges like its starving and then after i surpass to 3000 rpm its ok. It only does that while im at 2k rpm going into st gear; also while downshifting when it reaches 2000 rpm my car starts jerking. I cant classify the problem to search for it, i have tried but there isnt any body with the same symptoms that i have. If anyone knows what the problem is let me know, thanks. - Josh
